How to check
- On a touchscreen, drag a finger through each grid cell, then along all four edges. Turn the device if an edge is difficult to reach.
- Place two or more fingers on the pad at once. Watch active and peak touch contacts, then release them.
- Look for repeated breaks in strokes. Clear and trace those areas again to separate a missed touch from an untested area.
Know the limits
An untouched cell is not proof of a dead zone. Browser gestures, system edge gestures, palm rejection and hardware contact limits can affect the events this page receives.
The pad prevents scrolling only inside its drawing area. Operating-system gestures and parts of the screen outside the browser viewport may remain inaccessible, even in fullscreen.
Drawing data and coverage exist only in this page’s memory. Nothing is uploaded or stored; clearing or reloading discards the session.
A useful question
Can I use a mouse to certify touch coverage?
No. Mouse and pen drawing can preview the surface, but only touch pointer events count toward coverage and multi-touch results. Test the actual touchscreen with your fingers.
